Club Competitions 2010
The 10 mile Time Trial Championship, (Senior & Junior).
Our club event held on the 18th August will be used as our championship event.
The 10 mile Time Trial Handicap Championship, (Senior & Junior).
The Handicap will be decided at the same event as the 10 mile Time Trial Championships. The rider with the fastest time will be given the scratch, (e.g. 22:00). Then the scratch time is taken away from the riders personal best for that year, to the nearest 10 seconds (e.g. if your personal best 23:34 your handicap would be 1:30). If a rider as not ridden a 10 mile Time Trial that year, then their PB from the previous "3" years will be used. If a rider as not ridden a 10 mile Time Trial, they will be given a handicap of 3 minutes. It’s the RIDERS responsibility to inform the Club Secretary of their best times.
10 mile Time Trial Points Championship, (Senior & Junior)
SEASON LONG - Points will be awarded at each of the club events as follows. 1st=20, 2nd=19, 3rd=18, 4th=17, etc. The rider with the most points from their best eleven rides at the end of the season is the winner
25 mile Time Trial Championship, (Senior & Junior)
13th June - Liverpool Century - D25/3. The Junior / Youth winner will receive the coach4bike.co.uk Shield
50 mile Time Trial Championship.
8th August - East Liverpool Wh's - D50/12
100 mile Time Trial Championship.
18th July - Shropshire & West Cheshire - D100/1
12 hour Time Trial Championship.
22th August - WCTTCA/LTTCA - D12/1
Hillclimb Championship, (Senior & Junior).

Club SPOCO Time Trial Championship,
SEASON LONG - This is open to all senior club members. Using the events listed. Riders will be awards points as follows. 1st St Helens rider 20pts, 2nd rider 19pts, etc. The competition is based on a rider’s best nine results with the winner receiving the D Sparrow Plumbing and Heating Services Spoco Trophy. It’s the RIDERS responsibility to inform the Club Secretary of their results
.Club B.A.R.R. Championship.
SEASON LONG - Will be awarded to the rider with the fastest average speed from their best times for 25’ 50’ & 100’ Time trails. It’s the RIDERS responsibility to inform the Club Secretary of their best times.
Club Time Trial Championship.
SEASON LONG - Will be awarded to the rider, with the fastest average speed from their TWO best times at both 10’ & 25’ TT. Times can only be taken from D, J & L courses. It’s the RIDERS responsibility to inform the Club Secretary of their best times.
Club Road Race Championship, (Senior & Junior)
SEASON LONG - Points will be awarded in any LVRC, TLI or BC sanctioned events between and including the dates 1st February and 31st October. Points will be awarded as follows:- 1st - 10pts, 2nd - 9pts, 3rd – 8pts, etc down to 10th – 1pts. Any rider finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a Points or King of the Mountain Competition will be awarded 5, 3 and 1 point respectively. It’s the RIDERS responsibility to inform the Club Secretary of their results
Club Cyclo-Cross Championship, (Senior & Junior).
SEASON LONG - Will be awarded to the rider who as gained the most points in the previous winter's NWCCA League, (E.g. The 1999 winner will be from the winter 98/99 season).
Club's Most Improved Rider, (Senior & Junior).
Will be decided by a private vote at the club AGM, by all 1st claim members present.
