About the Club

Please note. Anyone is welcome to join in any of our club rides. But after 6 rides if you haven't already, you will be asked to join the club if you wish to continue taking part in the club rides.

Club Membership.

Adults £15.00 per year, Under 25's Free.
Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December.
Club kit is available from the Club Secretary.

Hub Night's.

We meet the 1st Monday of the month at the Abbey Hotel, Hard Lane from 8.00pm.Everyone is welcome to come along and have a chat and a drink.

Club Runs.

Saturdays.

B Group; Windle Island, 9.45am. 40-45miles Avg Spd 15-16mph includes Cafe stop.

A Group; Windle Island, 10 am. 40-45miles Avg Spd 17-18mph includes Cafe stop.

Sundays.

C Group; Windle Island, 9.30am 30-35miles Avg Spd 13-14mph includes Cafe stop

B Group; Windle Island; 9.45am 40-45miles Avg Spd 15-16mph includes a Cafe Stop

A Group; Townhall; 9.30am, 55-60miles Avg Spd 17-18mph

Tuesday & Thursday.

Windle Island; 6.30pm During the summer months they ride out to the chain-gang ride at Bickerstaffe church. During the winter months, it's a steady ride of around 30-35 miles.

Wednesdays.

Windle Island; Social ride (Avg 14-15mph) around 50 miles, includes a cafe stop

Club 10m Time Trials.

Wednesdays.

Between the months of April and September. Wigan Wheelers & ourselves run a weekly 10m time trial based on the Rainford Bypass (D10/1). Signing on is at the layby next to the White Elephant (formerly the Wheatsheaf Pub) from 6.15pm. Club members, £2.00, members of another club £3.50. First rider off is at 7.01pm
