About the Club

Please note. Anyone is welcome to join in any of our club rides. But after 6 rides if you haven't already, you will be asked to join the club if you wish to continue taking part in the club rides.

Club Membership.

Adults £15.00 per year, Under 25's Free.
Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December.
Club kit is available from the Club Secretary.

Hub Night's.

We meet the quarterly, details are posted on our Facebook events page. Everyone is welcome to come along and have a chat and a drink.

Club Runs.

Saturdays.

A & B Groups; Windle Island, 10.00am. The ride will split into 2 groups with the Fast Club Ride Group going off first (Advisory Note - This is for riders who want to ride fast and is more of a training type of ride.) The Club Ride will set off a couple of minutes later at a more steady pace.(Advisory Note - This is does no mean it is a slow ride, but it a ride were you should be in your comfort zone. No riders will get left behind.)

Sundays.

Tuesday & Thursday.

Windle Island; 6.30pm During the summer months they ride out to the chain-gang ride at Bickerstaffe church. During the winter months, it's a steady ride of around 30-35 miles.

Wednesdays.

Windle Island; 9.30am Social ride (Avg 14-15mph) around 50 miles, includes a cafe stop

Club 10m Time Trials.

Wednesdays.

Between the months of April and September. Wigan Wheelers & ourselves run a weekly 10m time trial based on the Rainford Bypass (D10/1). Signing on is at the layby next to the White Elephant (formerly the Wheatsheaf Pub) from 6.15pm. Check our Facebook page for more details.
